quick question or want a chat about how they can support you on your academic journey.

The Centre for Academic Writing (CAW) is here to help you gain confidence in your writing skills and ensure that you reach your academic potential. Our academic writing specialists are based in the Lanchester Library. You can drop in during opening hours for support.
CAW aims to help you to:

- a drop-in service where you can get quick answers to questions
- 50-minute one-to-one tutorials
- online tutorials through video call as a live discussion or through email feedback
- third-year dissertation writing groups
- workshops covering a wide range of academic writing topics
- access to a wide range of internal and external academic writing resources.
