Principles and Practice of Critical Care Nursing CPD Course

This module aims to build upon the knowledge developed from critical care module 6023CPD. The module will focus on specific conditions and clinical issues found in the critical care environment. This module will give students the opportunity to explore in detail the evidence base, treatment and management practices related to the different clinical issues.


Introduction to Critical Care Nursing CPD Course

This module aims to build upon students’ pre-existing knowledge and skills in their own specific clinical speciality by introducing them to the various aspects of critical care nursing.


Managing Minor Injury and Illness CPD Course

To enable students to: develop their care and clinical management of patients, from across the life span, with minor injury or illness; critically evaluate the impact of their practice on the effectiveness of patient care journeys.


Health Assessment CPD Course

This module is designed for students working in a variety of medical practice settings and aims to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge in order to enable them to conduct holistic health assessment.


Injection Therapy (Musculoskeletal) CPD Course

This module is designed for physiotherapists accessing either MSc Manual Therapy or as a stand-alone module for physiotherapists and general practitioners. The aim of the module is to introduce practitioners to the theory and practice of peripheral intra- and peri-articular injection therapy.


Royal College of Nursing Infection Prevention and Control Programme Course

CPD Programme with Academic Credits. This programme is developed by the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) and accredited by Coventry University, it is available to RCN members and non-members.


Practice Certificate in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing – Level 6 Course

Start dates: September and January (2 x 20 credit 13-week modules) The Practice Certificate in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing course prepares eligible experienced registered healthcare practitioners to become independent and/or supplementary prescribers in order to deliver high quality, innovative and cost-effective care to patients in a wide range of healthcare settings.
